My goodness have things been busy for us lately. My apologies I have not done a post in so long. Trust me, it's probably for your benefit . . .it wouldn't be as exciting. LOTS of studying (for M.) and LOTS of work (for me).
First off . . .this is new.
First off . . .this is new.
M. participated in "No-Shave-November" and I cut my long locks. It's WAY too hot here to have a glorious mane.
Secondly, we moved. . .
Secondly, we moved. . .
We just moved across the way but thankfully have more of a breeze and an office for me to conduct my business. Our first night in the new place the breeze was so glorious that we were even kind of chilly. :) As I type this blog up I am sitting on our patio overlooking the lagoon. Let's just say, I'm in heaven and am so grateful for the impromptu switch. It never ceases to amaze me how things just work out.
More pictures of the new place to come.
M. is working so hard with school right now. He's almost to finals and then will have his first semester of Pharmacy school under his belt. Just two tests this week and then finals. Keep him in your prayers! Work has ramped up significantly for me with the holiday season currently upon us. I love the company I work for and am so grateful for the opportunities they give me. I also got called to the Primary Presidency recently and have never loved a ward calling more (excluding our "mini-mission").
This year was our first Thanksgiving away from home. It had it's homesick moments but we enjoyed our first Hawaii Thanksgiving with our new friends. It's the only Thanksgiving I can think of where we ate outside and it was warm and sunny.
This was our weather. . .

We did end up braving some "Black-Friday" sales. We were all prepared to witness fights and arguments like we witnessed back home. Arriving back home in one peace, we were stunned how kind and laid back people were. The news reported Honolulu and Waikiki were another story though.
Every single day we are in awe of this place and our lives. We are so grateful for the path Heavenly Father has guided us on and for the support of our family and friends. We miss our family dearly; especially with Christmas on it's way. However, it's been a blast making some truly amazing memories together.

We miss you Utah . . .but we've Gone Surfing.
