My goodness, she is growing up so gosh darn fast! I rolled her over tonight to do "tummy-time" and she surprised me by lifting her head fully and holding for a good couple of minutes. HOORAY!!! Luna HATES tummy time but lately she's coming around to it and lasting about 5 supervised minutes. This was a big baby step today. Thankfully little Lu's sunburn is all healed now and her soft baby skin as returned once more. I've learned my lesson good and she will be wearing a hat even if we're in the shade from now on in the beautiful, but deadly Hawaiian sun. |
This sweet girl brightens up our mornings every day. We can't hardly wait to wake her, believe it or not, because we can not wait to see her goofy smile. She hasn't quite slept through the night yet but does an awesome job of going right back to sleep after eating each time. I'm not complaining at all.
Lu holds her head up now without any assistance and loves to stand supported. She still arches her back significantly when doing so but you can see she's working on that thing called "balance". Her new thing is to grab everything in sight with a death grip and put it promptly into her mouth - this includes my hair. No more "down" hairdos for me. She also recently has attempted to grab the water while it's poured on her during her daily nighttime baths. She's a goofball to say the least.
